Terms of Service
Last updated August 1, 2026
The short version. This is an educational tool, not financial advice. You keep ownership of your data. The free plan is genuinely free. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
Who you're agreeing with
These terms are between you and Eden Financial LLC ("we", "us"), which operates Not Your Daddy's Common Cents. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
This is education, not advice
This is the most important thing on this page.
We are not financial advisors, investment advisors, tax advisors, accountants, or brokers. Nothing here is personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or product.
Everything the site shows you — lessons, calculators, categorizations, projections, and any figure it produces — is general education and illustration based on information you provided and assumptions we state. Projections are not predictions. Real results will differ.
Where we name a company, account type, or fund, it is an example to explain how something works, not an endorsement or a recommendation to use it.
Decisions about your money are yours. Please consult a qualified professional who knows your full situation before acting on anything you read here.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has access. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Accounts are for one person's own household finances. They're not for bookkeeping on behalf of clients, commercial data analysis, automated access, or reselling.
Your data belongs to you
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the permission we need to store and process it in order to provide the service to you.
You can export your data at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account. How long we keep things is described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
Free and paid plans
The free plan is free, and it's meant to be genuinely useful on its own — not a crippled demo.
Plus costs $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose renews automatically at that price until you cancel. Promotional pricing, where offered, applies only to the period stated — a first-year discount renews at the standard rate afterward, and we'll tell you the renewal amount before you buy.
Cancelling. Cancel any time through the billing portal. You keep paid features through the period you've already paid for. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but if something has gone wrong, write to us — we'd rather sort it out than argue.
If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you time to fix it before anything changes.
Price changes will be announced before they affect you, and you can cancel if you don't want to continue.
Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms. We never receive your card details.
Usage limits
Both plans have limits sized for normal personal and household use — how much history is kept in detail, how many files you can import, and so on. The current numbers are shown in the app.
We may adjust limits over time. If a change would remove data you already have, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export it.
What we can't promise
We work to keep the service running and accurate, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, or that a calculation reflects your real circumstances.
Imported data depends on the files your bank produces. We can't guarantee every file will be read correctly, and it's worth reviewing what gets imported.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they don't apply to you.
Ending things
You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you want.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or puts other people at risk. Except in serious cases, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms meaningfully, we'll post the change here and update the date. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that ends up in court belongs in the state or federal courts serving Maricopa County, Arizona, and we both agree to that venue.
